Orange (Citrus sinensis), stimulating

Deliciously sweet, fresh and tangy smelling, sweet orange essential oil is useful in a wide variety of aromatherapy applications.

Its therapeutic properties include as an antiseptic, antidepressant, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, sedative and tonic.

Orange oil helps colds and flus, boosts the immune system and eliminates toxins from the body. It is also useful for nervous tension and stress. It is an effective general skin tonic, but more specifically it is great for older more mature skin, dermatitis, acne and soothing dry irritated skin. Its effectiveness as a general skin tonic stems from its support of collagen formation, which is required for healthy, young-looking skin.
