*Jasmine (Jasminum grandiflorum), sensual, soothing

Jasmine is a wonderfully rich, sweet, exotic floral that is so delicate that it must be handpicked for distillation into an essential oil.

It is useful in a wide variety of aromatherapy preparations for its antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, stimulating and soothing qualities. It helps ease stiff, sore muscles and joints. Jasmine oil tones skin that is dry, greasy, irritated or sensitive. It increases elasticity and is therefore used to reduce stretch marks and scarring.

Cautions: Jasmine is deeply relaxing so using too much of it could impede the ability to concentrate.
