Balsam Fir (Abies balsamea), refreshing, uplifting

Very reminiscent of Christmas, balsam fir is a bright, refreshing, uplifting and stimulating oil with analgesic, antimicrobial, antiseptic and anticatarrahal properties. It is used to treat head colds, bronchitis, asthma and other respiratory tract conditions. It is also used to ease sore and aching muscles and joints and to treat arthritis and rheumatism. Balsam fir is oftentimes used in anti-anxiety blends due to its balancing, elevating and strengthening qualities.
