Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea), relaxing, calming

Clary sage has an herby, nutty, warm, light and musky fragrance. The ancient Greeks and Romans loved Clary Sage for its deeply sensual qualities. Today it is most often used in aromatherapy for its antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, bactericidal, calming, relaxing and antidepressant qualities.

Clary sage balances the production of sebum. It helps clear up acne, boils and ulcers and it cools stiff and painful muscles and joints.
